Heroics mixtape - Fall 2011
Look, I could try to sell you on this mixtape in two ways, the first being that this one was inspired by the Drive soundtrack: all synthetic cruise control, tinted windows, and an underlying threat of ultraviolence. I could mention Balam Acab, Gem Club, Colin Stetson, or Italo-mysteries Bagarre; get the obscurist vote.
Then again, I could also admit that this is still a Neonresolutions mix, and so you’ll encounter some 90s classics by Everything But The Girl and the Ghost Town DJ’s, and so alongside the requisite Gaga, Lana Del Rey, and R. Kelly remixes you’ll even hear a Bonnie Tyler cover.
Now whichever tack appeals to you most, I hope you do click that Gosling pic above and enjoy my soundtrack to your autumnal cruises.
